WhatsApp Sales & Order Bot
Your customers now open WhatsApp to ask where their order is, get reminded about an abandoned cart, or ask a quick product question. A bot that answers order status, cart reminders and product questions automatically handles that faster than email ever could.
Where WhatsApp gets wasted in e-commerce
Order-status questions get answered one by one, by hand, on WhatsApp; on a busy day this alone becomes a full-time job.
Abandoned carts never get a reminder -- a customer adds an item, leaves, and the sale disappears without a trace.
Product questions go through email and take hours to answer -- by then the customer has already bought elsewhere.
How we work
WhatsApp has become more than a support channel in e-commerce -- it's now the primary place customers ask about order status, expect a nudge when they abandon a cart, and look for a fast answer about a product. All three needs run on the same infrastructure: trigger-based flows on the WhatsApp Business API, plus an assistant that answers from your own store data. Meta's verification and approval process is part of the project from day one -- account setup and template approvals are planned around it, not treated as a surprise blocker.
We built and shipped WhatsApp notification automation for Gel Gez Gör: the system detects trending listings and sends an automatic WhatsApp message to the relevant person -- a trigger-based flow with no manual step. For Ambalaj Cini we built the e-commerce platform from scratch, including a back-office layer where order and stock data automatically becomes an internal notification. For your store, we apply the same trigger logic to order-status and cart-reminder flows -- this time aimed directly at the customer over WhatsApp. That experience taught us the operational side of trigger-based messaging as much as the technical one -- deciding exactly which event fires which message, and how retries are handled when a message fails to send.
The product-Q&A layer is a separate piece: the assistant isn't a generic chatbot, it's a RAG system grounded in your product data, stock levels and delivery rules. The moment it isn't confident, or a customer pushes back, the conversation is automatically handed to your team instead of guessing an answer. During setup we define together which messages go out and which data feeds the assistant; after launch, content gets updated based on the real questions customers ask in the first weeks. That means the customer feels like they're talking to your brand, not a generic AI chatbot -- every answer traces back to your own catalog and policies, never to information pulled from outside them.
What this solution includes
- Order-status notifications -- shipped, out for delivery, delivered: each trigger sends an automatic WhatsApp message to the customer.
- Abandoned-cart reminders -- if checkout isn't completed within a set window, a gentle reminder goes out automatically.
- Product Q&A -- stock, size, delivery time and other common questions are answered from your own store data (RAG), not general internet knowledge.
- Human handoff -- when the bot isn't confident or the customer insists, the conversation is routed to your team automatically.
- Integration with your existing store -- notifications hook into your real order and inventory data, not a manually triggered list.
